Phone Booth

I spotted this old phone booth in Australia and I felt for the reflection of the sign, it makes it funny.

Are you sure it's not the same sign on the other side of the booth, Chantal, and not a reflection? smile In either case, it gives depth to the inside of the booth. And if those are louvered windows in a phone booth, that's a first for me.
Chantal Huijbregts: You might be right?

Mooi.

"Ett spännande foto" as they say in swedish.

Your photo reminds me of the old good days and ways. There have not been any telephone booths in Finland in eternities - I think they were removed after the Helsinki Olympic Games 1952 - and nowadays you are not considered to be a real person unless you have two mobile phones with you all the time or if you have to use fingers in using them... Wonder, if I'm taking the correct medication?
Chantal Huijbregts: We don't have much phonebooth left either here
Well spotted, Chantal!
Chantal Huijbregts: Thanks Tom
It seems to be in good shape, Chantal; is it still in use? Great idea to shoot at this angle.
Chantal Huijbregts: It was maintained and kept very well
Nice shot. Remind me of an ld mail box I saw in Melbourne. It was really old and was on the street only for aesthetics. I kept moving around it in circles looking for a slot to post my letters. Then some one pointed me to a real mail box
Chantal Huijbregts: I have a mailbox coming up later... a red one
Yes very well spotted Chantal.
Chantal Huijbregts: It just was standing there and needed to be captured. smile
Red and angled a winning combination Chantal
Chantal Huijbregts: thanks Martin
well spotted, good image
Chantal Huijbregts: thanks, i was drawn by the red color mostly
you have sure been around quite a bit smile
nice image, its unusual to see telephone booths in most places these days, soon they will be a thing of the past completely
Chantal Huijbregts: I did a road trip to Australia for six weeks...
