ZigZag Railway

This is the train that drives the ZigZag Railway track near the Blue Moutains, a great experience to drive this track. We did it, and even saw the steamtrain that rides the other way round. I made it B&W to give it a more old time feeling.

Oh nee, aangepast, en hij had zooo mooi kunnen zijn...
Chantal Huijbregts: Ja ja, ik weet het, jij en ik zitten niet op één lijn wat betreft vignettering

It does look like it's from another era, Chantal.
Chantal Huijbregts: It IS!!

Een leuk treintje. Ik ben wel benieuwd hoe hij in kleur zou zijn.
Chantal Huijbregts: Dan is hij ook grijzig...

Because of the blur framing it looks a bit like a miniature train! Lovely capture and nice color tones.
Chantal Huijbregts: Thanks a lot

B&W gives a great retro effect
Chantal Huijbregts: It strengthens the image
I truly wish you would ditch the blurry vignetting Chantal. It certainly decreases the quality of your photos in my opinion. This could have been a smashing shot, but now it looks like some 2nd choice photo lab did a crappy job on processing it. Too bad!!

The B&W conversion is brilliant! Very classy job on that!!
Chantal Huijbregts: Okay, we do not all the vignetting...
nice!
Chantal Huijbregts: Thanks and welcome here...
I suspect I would enjoy a ride on this Chantal. I agree, in this case, with marion about the vignette although not quite so vehemently.
Chantal Huijbregts: Okay, we are clear, the vignetting was not a succes
Nice take, Chantal.
Chantal Huijbregts: 'Thanks Tom'
Beautiful image processing with fabulous black and white. A greeting.
Chantal Huijbregts: Thanks and welcome Pedro
looks a really old unit, good shot
Chantal Huijbregts: it was well kept

It looks very old and your processing is so right for this.
Chantal Huijbregts: B&W brings it back in those days
I've never seen an engine like this one, Chantal. Love the name 'Bundaberg' and the winged insignia on front. Nice reflection of the surrounding landscape on the window, too.
nicely done, it does look that it survived from some bygone era
