Stupa 1/2

I had never seen a Stupa in real life, so in Benalmadena I visited one. I loved the building a lot, made a few photos. This is one of them

I like the POV here, Chantal. It seems strange to see this, however, in Spain!
Chantal Huijbregts: yes, well, religion is everywhere in all sorts, like here in Holland.

Stupa is also the Zulu word for a finger print.
Chantal Huijbregts: How funny is that, don't see the relation myself... smile
Nice photo!
Chantal Huijbregts: thanks Victoria
This is very nice Chantal.
Chantal Huijbregts: and serene
Simple, serene and beautiful Chantal
Chantal Huijbregts: thanks a lot
Did not mean to compare at all. I was just sharing the coincidence. In fact, I think yr picture is much better than mine, including the sky, which relates far more better with the contemplative religious attitude of the place. The only image of note I took there was the OVNI portrayed from that terrace, "Aliens live freely in Benalmádena" as follows: http://offtravels.shutterchance.com/theme/35-malaga-spain/image/2011/08/20/jcrubioimg-3681jpg/?sort=title&order=asc

Chantal Huijbregts: No I know, I just had hoped we had that sky!!! I loved your photo!!!

There is no relation. It was just a random thought that popped into my head when I saw the word.
I've never seen a stupa either. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful lines and curves that beg to be centered, as you have done here and in the next image.
