It reminds me of a sand castle bleached by the sun, Chantal.
Chantal Huijbregts: It did look a bit like it indeed Ginnie
I agree, this is a blend of birdcage, copt & disney architectures! Responsible should be detained. smile
Chantal Huijbregts: it is strange architecture I thought
It looks like an elaborate cake with sculpted fondant icing. (I have seen cakes like this at weddings.)

Nice homage that you received.

These towers in front look like cages for beautiful birds.
Chantal Huijbregts: Yes, I was touched by the homage
That's nothing.

You should come to Brighton to see the Royal Pavilion.

And that's something. smile
Chantal Huijbregts: never been there
What a delightful spot to sit and gaze out from. The best I can make of the quote from Lopez is: "From forgotten streets of sun and vibrations of the sky and of lime [washed walls], intact in the shadow of time and its gates, to the Cordoban patio your memory returns..." - but I'm no Spanish expert!
Chantal Huijbregts: it was a nice place to stroll around and grab a drink too
Beautiful shot Chantal smile The white buildings with the blue sky are very lovely.
Chantal Huijbregts: Thanks a lot Frances
I do like the shape of those tower roofs.
Chantal Huijbregts: funny design
They really do resemble cages, Chantal. I can just picture them being used as aviaries filled with beautiful multi-coloured birds.
Chantal Huijbregts: Me too Beverly
LOL at Juan, unusual looking building Chantal, a spanish folly!?
Chantal Huijbregts: I think so, no idea who the architect was
I can see why you were pleased with the dedicationsmile

This building does indeed have a fairytale look
Chantal Huijbregts: surreal almost Bill
Great shot, I really like the soft colors and detail.
Chantal Huijbregts: and the contrast with the blue works well then
Could be made of icing Chantal, nice detailed capture.
Chantal Huijbregts: yes indeed John, jummie then
The tops look like whipped cream...smile
Chantal Huijbregts: haha, nice imagination Larry
These look like icing decorations on a cake!
Chantal Huijbregts: it was surreal almost Anita
